When taking this class, it's essential to realize the impact of the lessons and values taught. The core elements of ERWC are built to help set the foundation for yourself to become a better writer. ERWC with Ms. Atlansky is more than just going over the basic concepts of English because she also teaches you about the life that lies ahead of you This class may be challenging but it is not impossible, it is bearable. Those who complain about this class are the type of people who want to feel comfortable and do the bare minimum. Without the challenge, there is no growth. I assure you that if you get to know Ms. Atlansky and seek for her help, you will grow inevitably! - Punctuality is key. Late homework is rarely given full credit. Know your due dates, test dates, and quiz dates. - Don't try SparkNotes or read off summaries for the books you need to read. They will not help you at all. It may help you in the short run but not in the long run. - Take part in discussions and class participation. - Not that many tests - Material is always posted in Google Classroom! - Don't be intimidated, just communicate!

A. P. E is a great place, you get to be with your teammates the whole time. We use this period as a study hall to get homework done. During the offseason, this period is used as a place to lift weights and work out. This free hour that we get from APE helps us prepare our bodies for practice, games, and overall goes a long way in helping us. Overall this class is great and the atmosphere is even better.

The best piece of advice I can give to a student taking Ms. Berkowitz's Child/Human Development class is to do the work she assigns. Most of her class is work/reading-oriented rather than lectures. Thus, most of the material on quizzes is from classwork or homework. The work itself is quite easy but it is still crucial to do it. Also, be prepared to speak to the class by yourself. There is a lot of projects, group works, and presentations involved in this course that you'll have to present to the class. However, Ms. Berkowitz is very easygoing so if you do slip up, it's okay.

This class is great for people who love working with kids and getting hands-on experience. The coursework is extremely light compared to other electives. Quizzes are fairly easy and tests come in the form of projects, so if you're the creative type, this class is for you.

The material in the class is relatively easy to comprehend. The material is all memorization. There isn’t much work assigned, it is mainly just quizzes and tests. Mr. Boyd heavily uses slides that aren’t posted anywhere after he is done using them, so it is very important to actually take notes during the class period. He isn’t super strict with deadlines as he opened assignments for kids who missed it or didn’t like their scores throughout the year. Overall, the class was enjoyable and not too difficult.

Overall, this class is pretty easy as long as you stay on top of your work, and make sure to study and review whatever you learn in class daily. Of course, this is a language course so it's important to always review whatever you're taught. I think the lessons were all simple and easy, you just need to make sure you're paying full attention. She's always available after school in case you have late work to turn in or have any questions about the material! If anything, just keep studying and reviewing all material learned and you should be fine. Practicing the language at home or with native speakers will definitely help you out with pronunciation as well as grammatical errors if you practice it constantly. I always would practice talking to my parents in Filipino which was super helpful.

I would say that this class is very social and interactive as you would expect from a language class. At times, the class can feel enjoyable for some because many of the students who take this class are energetic and social. The teacher can also be quite nice at times if the class is cooperative. I had Mrs. Carrasco for Filipino 1 and 3 and both of these classes operate the same way, just Filipino 3 covers a variety of topics beyond the language. I would say that Filipino 3 is more based on the culture, media, famous figures, and history of the Philippines, but at the beginning of the year, we do learn about several types of verbs, how to conjugate them, and how to use them in sentences. We also learn about enclitics and using the present perfect tense. Other than that, you will mainly be reading short stories and texts that require a good knowledge of Filipino. Some of the vocabularies that you learn at this level and encounter in the texts are unlikely to be used in everyday casual conversation. There is a lot of group work and oral projects and participation accounts for 30% of your grade, so it crucial that you participate and can work well with others, regardless of the situation. Presentations virtually were mainly Google slides, but in person, you would do more elaborate longer presentations and projects. Memorization is also heavily emphasized, but the teacher does provide many Quizlet assignments, kahoots, and short practice assignments that help your memorization and practice application of what you learn. The quizzes and tests are also easy to study for since she gives you the information that you need to do well in the form of practice tests. One thing to note is that quite a bit of the students who take this class already speak Tagalog, so there is a high expectation in this class to know your material and can speak decently. There are some times where the teacher can be impatient or demanding when you don’t know how to do something, which can be quite nerve-wracking and can affect your experience in the class. In general, the class is not super difficult, although it can be nerve-wracking at times, especially if you don’t do well with public speaking or don’t understand the information. However, if you memorize the material and try to speak Tagalog outside of class to practice, you should be fine!

Though this year was his first year and virtual year of teaching high school, Mr. Carrozza did a very good job teaching the material. Throughout the year, Mr. Carrozza was really patient in answering anybody's inquiry even if he had to repeat himself multiple times. And when he assigned individual assignments he was very willing to help people with personal issues. There are very quizzes and when we do have tests it's everything that has been covered in class. The material itself is kind of hard if you're not interested or if you tend to forget certain coding lingo, but overall Mr. Carrozza made it easier for those who didn't understand.

In this class there was a lot of participation, you would have to answer questions out loud. Which was personally something that I usually do not like to do, but being online helped a lot. You will have to make sure you have your textbook open and know when your turn to answer is. When it comes to homework he was very flexible, he would assign assignments maybe every two weeks. But he did not accept late work. His tests were not difficult because they were all multiple choice, which was less stressful than tests from other classes. His tests would be on a google form, which was comforting because I was familiar with it. If you ever had questions you can stay behind after class or join the class early to talk to him. Overall I enjoyed his class because of how he made learning Spanish more simple and relaxed. And the class was not difficult for me personally.

This teacher is so nice to us. I had her last year for Algebra 1 in Room 451 as a 9th grader. (2022-2023 both semesters) My final grade in this class for semester 1 is 90. 19%. (A-) and semester 2 is 91. 45% (A-). She teaches math using Explain Everything Basics and post the notes on Canvas so that we do our homework which is very helpful. Always ask for help if you don't understand anything. She even gives a variety of snacks to her students which is very nice. She is easy, unless your not so be careful about your behavior in her classroom and follow directions. So, pay attention and you will succeed her class. 6 out of 6 (100% A+) goes to her according to my score, but for this website, 5 out of 5. (100% A+)

I have Ms Cross for a class called Peers in Action. The class is probably very small as it is not a popular class, and it's also the easiest class you'll ever have. Essentially, it's a life skills class for upperclassmen, and towards the end of each semester, you go into freshman life skills classes to present about a birth control method. There is rarely ever any homework, just little fun assignments here and there. Mostly, the class is project based, so expect to do a lot of presentations. It is so easy to get an A in the class, and Ms Cross is super understanding and friendly so it won't be hard to reach out to her(make sure you do reach out! ).

i had ms. diaz for life skills freshman year. she is really nice and is always there if you need anything. the class overall was fun and interesting and the only downside is the amount of work. you have to stay on task and not procrastinate if you want to pass. cell phones arent allowed and its best to be on time.

I have Dolgin as my tennis coach. This will be my third year on the team. Advice that I have for people that want to succeed on the team is to work hard and dedicate a lot of time for practicing. This is not only playing tennis but also working out and making sure that you are keeping yourself in shape. Working on weaknesses and practicing strengths will make the process of improving a lot easier. Stay open minded and committed. Improvement takes time and it takes a lot of focus to reach goals. I have had a great experience on the team and have met a lot of people that I was able to bond with as well.

As a student in his pre-calc class, the first semester was definitely difficult. Trust me, it gets easier the second semester. My big tip would be to actually do the homework it's great practice. The most studying I did for tests was reviewing the practice time multiple times. Understand the concepts of the practice test and you should be fine on the test if you need more practice I would look in the textbook for more problems. Another tip is not to use the cheat sheet if possible since it deducts a lot of points. If you really need it then I'd say go for it but I never used one. It's definitely not easy to get an A but it is possible and his teaching stuck with me. If you are confused email him and he will reply with a video to help you better understand the problem which I found super helpful. He is entertaining at times and as much as I was suffering the first semester the second semester wasn't nearly as bad. The final is a bit tough you will need to study a lot.

This class was amazing overall! I'm not sure about her AP classes since I was in her normal world history class but compared to the other history classes, our notes were far more easier! She takes late work and is very understanding if you just communicate with her :). She doesn't assign much homework outside of class, and it's a very easy class in general if you stay on top of her work.

I believe that this is Mr. Hankinson’s second year teaching at Logan, and it’s pretty obvious that it’s his second year. I did not look forward to class at all, and I’ve never struggled in a math class before, ever. Math is my strong suit, but with Mr. Hankinson, I felt like I was suffering the entire year. I paid attention throughout the entire year, and I still had to reteach myself lessons with other online sources.. At some point, I just gave up trying in his class. The lessons were easy, but his way of teaching was not the best for me at all. It was very unorganized and didn’t make a lot of sense. However, although his teaching skills were horrific for me, it’s obvious that he cares for his students and will listen to problems they have with his class. If I were to turn back in time though, I’d drop out of the class.

For this class, I say the best advice would be transfer out and find a different teacher. To be succesfull in a class you need a teacher that also wants your success, in this one Henderson does not want your success at all. If you are unable to transfer just try to get an A+ or A on every single assignment and every test. Still, you might end up with a B

In this class you would be assigned a lot of homework which was very overwhelming at times. She was flexible with the due dates and would change them constantly which was good. You have to pay attention in this class to be able to understand the material and do the homework and tests. Her homework is based on what you learned in class or what you will learn. She is very open about late work, but I am not sure if you get full credit. If you have more than 5 missing assignments she will open 5 at a time. Which is nice because it helps make it seem overwhelming. To do well on the test you need to pay attention during class and do the assignments. The tests are usually about what we learned in class, and all of the questions are about the material. She did not have any confusing questions about material we never learned. If you need to take a test you can come during lunch, which is good for both the student and teacher. Overall this class was enjoyable because of the environment but difficult due to the workload.

If you are in need of fulfilling your VAPA requirements, taking beginner ceramics is one of the best and easiest classes. Ms. Jackson is very understanding and all she wants is for you to pass her class. At the beginning of the year, you start to work with clay, creating different sculptures such as pots, whistles, skulls, animals, etc. All of the supplies are supplied to you and most of the things you had to provide yourself are items that are around the house. Later on in the year, you start to work with color mixing and different techniques. The homework is very minimal and doesn’t take that long each day, just as long as you follow her directions. At first, it was very difficult taking an art class and working with clay for the first time but once you get the hang of it, the class is really enjoyable.

Advice I would give to future students is to use the textbook as a tool. The textbook has a lot of information in it that is very useful for studying for quizzes. This class isn't too difficult and a lot of the lessons are very interesting to learn about. A lot of the units also relate to things that we have learned in previous science classes and we go more in depth into these units. We learn about things that humans are doing that could be potentially harmful to the environment and planet, and we learn about ways we can minimize this damage and we find ways that we can directly help make our environment more sustainable and healthy.

I would say there is a lot of work in this class. Since it was online for us we didn't get the hands on experience. I feel like it would have been very fun if we did hands on experience. The only advice i would give is to finish your modules on time. The late work policy here is pretty flexible and you can get full points for late work. I have learned lots of useful things that would be handy in the future.

Mr. Kurup is very caring. There wasn’t much work in the class and all the work that is done is geared towards Forensics and making you a better competitor. There isn’t much done in the actual class period work wise. There aren’t any quizzes or tests in the class, but projects are done throughout the class. He cares very heavily about the students in his class and isn’t strict. I had him for Forensics for three years and I have never had any problems with him, even when I didn’t like the actual program.

His teaching style is really simple. There's daily warm-ups, notes, and then homework is given at the end of class. There will be group work sometimes. He checks if you're understanding the lesson based on how you're doing with the given work, and he does help you get a better understanding. Don't worry about asking for notes if you miss a day because he does post the notes and a couple videos of the lesson that was taught. The videos are helpful and easy to understand. Quizzes and tests aren't that long and they don't take too much of your grade. Don't be shy, ask him for help if you don't understand the work! Mr. Lash is a really good teacher and he's super nice.

Make sure to participate everyday and to come to class prepared. He gives you a lot of time to complete the assignments that are due so it's not hard to do them. The tests usually have questions from the quizzes so make sure to remember those questions and to study for the quizzes too.

I had APE for Coach Lothian and honestly, the class is easy if you just do your fitness logs and discussion post. I believe it was meant to be this way as the class is generally meant to be a period for swimmer students to study or have a head start for practice. Coach also goes over swim technique with the class, which is helpful. Plus, it can be extremely helpful for if you don't have time to do assignments due to practice. TL;DR, a solid class that performs its job well.

The biggest piece of advice I would give for a student to help them become more successful in the class would be to not be afraid to reach out to the teacher and ask questions. This is very important in a course as rigorous and dense as physics. Its important to be on top of all of your definitions and have a good conceptual grasp of what is being taught in the class. As a result asking questions and reaching out to the teacher is sure to maximize your success in the class. The more questions you ask, the better conceptual grasp you have of the material and the higher grades you receive on assignments and tests.

Athletic Training is a very laid-back class. If you want the full content of the class, you'll have to be open to hands-on activities. The only real homework we get is watching videos and turning in daily workouts. If you are interested in sports therapy or kinesiology, this class is for you. Since the teacher is the school's Athletic Trainer, and if you are willing to stay after school to help out during sports practices and games, you'll get to experience the daily work of an Athletic Trainer and see if that's something you're interested in doing anything similar in the future.

I had Mr. Marinakis for Marine Biology. The class is actually quite easy. However, it’s extremely important to use the assignments given as a way to study for tests and quizzes. He’s also extremely lenient on accepting late work, but don’t take advantage of his kindness because it’s tough to get back on track once you start to slack off. The amount of homework is also very manageable as long as you don’t procrastinate. Each assignment takes around an hour and a half to complete and you have an exceptional amount of time to complete it, so there’s no excuse to not do your work in his class.

ALWAYS PRACTICE. Practice truly does make it perfect when your in this class. Socializing is also extremely important, you will most likely find your kind of people there if you do. Personally, I've made friends with people that I didn't even talked to before and now they are considered some of my most closest friends. Communication is also a key factor, do not be afraid to ask questions and address any problems at hand with those around you. Overall, just have fun and enjoy singing with others that enjoy the same thing.

This class is really easy to get an A in if you complete all your work on time. Most homework is graded on completion and if you answer the prompt. The quizzes are worth a lot of points, but they are open notes. You won’t have to read the textbook because the lectures/slideshows will already have the notes you need. All the questions on the quiz come from the slideshows. There are also many reflective assignments where you will be asked to share your own opinions on the notes or other topics. Additionally, even though this is a US history class, Mr. Mijares has a college prep unit. We mainly get individual work time after lectures so if you finish your work fast, you essentially get the rest of the period to work on another class or take a break.

This course is wonderful for those just looking to complete their VAPA graduation requirement. All it requires is participation in class with following the very easy dances taught by the teacher, and performing some of them in front of your peers. There is a wide skill range among people taking the course but it’s a very comfortable environment where once you become familiar with the rest of your classmates, you aren’t scared to perform in front of them because everyone is appreciated for the work they display. There are a variety of dance styles taught with 3-4 week units for each of them (excluding the portions where you form your own choreography) so you get a feel of learning and performing numerous genres.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I was first coming into the class. I heard a lot of mixed things about it; Saying that it was an easy class, or it was an incredibly difficult class, and jeez, it was the most difficult class I’ve ever taken at Logan. Miss Noche is an amazing teacher, but she has high standards and expectations for her students, even if we were online this year. The workload isn’t too bad, but only if you pay attention during class. If you put no effort in at all, there is a very low chance of you passing the class. Most of your grade is from the quizzes she gives every week, and you have to answer the questions in a very detailed way, using vocabulary from the lectures and the textbook. Make sure you read the textbook because it actually really helps you understand the concepts more. She also has office hours every week where she answers questions very well, and even goes over lessons again if needed. Overall, I’d say that you should not take this class if you are not pursuing a career in the medical field, but it is very helpful. Just fast paced and you’ll need lots of motivation!

Algebra 2 is definitely a class that you need to pay a hundred percent of your attention to online. As someone who has never struggled with math before in real classes, online math classes in general are much harder than before. You need to take notes on everything while he is explaining and add more detail to them than what you hear, which can be hard to decipher sometimes. You need to speak up when you don’t understand something or else it will snowball past your limits. The explanation of the notes could be a little more detailed, and the amount of review could be greatly increased as there is less review in this class than any other math class I’ve attended, but overall, if math is your strong suit, you’ll be fine.

Because this year was virtual my experience may differ from those that others may have. Every aspect of this class is very fair. Everything that Ms. Pai covers in classtime will more or less be the same thing shown on the homework and test/quiz. Quizzes and tests are obviously worth much more than homework, that's why it's very essential to be clear on each concept she covers in class. Ms. Pai is also flexible for one on one tutoring sessions and personal questions. Whilst grading she also grades and gives credit where credit is due. One good thing about her class as well is that she offers a period in which people can earn back points they lost on the test which really helped me and my grade out.

Pre-Calculus is definitely hard to grasp therefore the material was difficult all year long. There was a lot of homework assigned, but there was a week for each assignment and late work was accepted with some points lost. The notes were done online and were accessible after class. Office hours were also held regularly therefore help was always available. There were always corrections for the tests and quizzes. The class was pretty well-paced. Other than the actual math being hard, the class was good.

The material in this class is very interesting. There is a lot of collaboration done in the class. There are assignments assigned regularly, but they aren’t too hard or time consuming. Projects, tests, and quizzes are regularly done, but they aren’t too difficult. The projects were very interesting and fun to do. Notes were put online to access after the class. Ms. Panico was a great teacher all throughout the year and I thoroughly enjoyed her class.

Although Mr. Penalosa is a new teacher, he manages his Asian American Studies class well and focuses on the quality of his student's comprehension of lessons and not on the quantity of lessons taught. Through his lessons, it can be seen that he is passionate about his job and tries to teach his students every class period to the best of his ability. Mr. Penalosa additionally emphasizes mental health heavily in his teaching which is an aspect that I deeply appreciate as he shows that he truly cares about his students through this. Although my class did not get through a lot of curriculum, I feel that because of what he values as a teacher, I deeply comprehend the subjects that were taught in class. The work given in his class is not arduous or plentiful at all either, meaning that the majority of information is derived from in-class lectures.

I had Ms. Perez for three years of American Sign Language. Throughout all of these years, the course load has been very manageable. New signs are taught frequently, so it is extremely beneficial to practice course content at least once every three days. Presentations can also be nerve racking, so practicing paves your way to success in her class. Furthermore, things such as the history of deaf culture and etc. are prominent aspects incorporated in her class. Therefore, making sure to memorize small details will help you. Especially in the long run.

I’ve had Mr. Refsnider as a teacher for the past 3 years of my high school career and I can confidently say that he is an amazing teacher. Although he can be pretty intense sometimes, it’s just because he wants to see his students succeed. The only way to do that, because this is a band class, is to practice practice practice! That’s really the only way you can pass this class; you truly put in effort, and they will see the work you put in! This year we didn’t have a marching season, but next year we will. It’s a lot more hardcore but really enjoyable, and it’s one of the main reasons why a lot of people stay in the band program. With that though, concert season is very laid back compared to marching season but it’s just as important. It really shows your skill and determines which band you’ll be placed in the next year. Overall, it’s an amazing class with an amazing teacher that clearly cares about his students success.

I've been in Robert's class for two years now, Drama 1 and Drama 2, and here's what I have to say about that: Take his class! Take Drama! Continue to take Drama past your first year of taking Drama! DO IT NOW!! Well, if you consider yourself a thespian, I suppose. Drama isn’t really a normal class in a normal classroom setting; there isn’t much writing or problem solving getting done. What it has going for it is the close-knit community that gets created alongside all the theoretical and technical things we learn about acting, in both its history and application. It's a more easygoing class than most, and there's a lot of activities that we do to supplement the learning, You get to watch plays (even new ones! ), and there's a lot of "games" that we play in order to get into roles and understand each other better. There are even times where you have to put on something of your own, create something with a group of other like-minded people, and these are honestly the best parts of the class. The ability and opportunity to make something your own in this type of way is a feeling that you won't find in any other class, I can tell you that much.

There are a lot of modules that range from 15 minutes of work to half an hour. There are some projects but not many. All late work is taken for full credit and is very lenient on grading. You can get a 50% on the homework and sit at a solid 85%. There are also test corrections which help you boost your grade if you do badly on tests

For this class, make sure you actively listen and pay attention during lessons. The lessons are pretty long and can be very confusing sometimes, but there are many examples as well as practice questions given during the lessons. Ms. Sarkissian is really kind and you can always come to her for help if you ever need something explained! For the most part, just make sure to focus during each lesson and actively participate so you can really learn and understand what's happening. The workload when it comes to homework isn't much, you're probably gonna be assigned one or two assignments, but during my time online with her, we had our homework due five days after it's assigned. Just make sure to review and pay attention during the lessons as it will help! I'd say that most of the lessons will just keep building off one another, so it's very important you stay on track.

When you take AP Physics 1, know that the course itself is difficult, but Ms. Sekar is passionate about teaching AP Physics 1. She accepts for lab re-do's as many times as you need and caps your labs at 80% so there's no reason to skip labs, pay attention to her lectures and DO THE STUDY GUIDES, she goes over study guides in class and it will be VERY useful with not being left behind. Her exams are typically more difficult than the AP exam, so you can be sure that you'll be overly prepared, and to do well on her exam practice conceptual type problems and understand when to use what formulas.

There's not that much advice to give for this class. Just make sure you stay on top of notes. You do need some memorization, but if you do the reading and have good notes, you'll be fine. Other than that it's just like any other class. Just listen, and do your homework like you would with any other class. I do know that depending on your teacher for this class, it can make or break it.

French isn't too difficult in my opinion. The most challenging parts are the presentations because you have to make sure your pronunciation/ conjugation is good. But, other than that the class is pretty simple, so just pay attention when Ms. Sklavos goes over the homework.

Ms. Sklavos is a good high school teacher. She assigns an average amount if homework (about 1 to 2 assignments per day), and the tests are fairly easy if you have participated in the classwork. I’ve been in her class for two consecutive years and can conclude that she genuinely enjoys teaching french. Ms. Sklavos also cares deeply about her students. She has been an understanding teacher to me and has always taken into account of what I may be going through and how it could effect my learning. She also works well to establish a fun and inviting environment, both in person and online. Ms. Sklavos recognizes that much of her class will be together for the next 3 years and adjusts lesson plans in order to integrate the students among one another. Overall, I have great respect for Ms. Sklavos and am sad to see her retire but I do wish her the best of life.

This class has a pretty light workload and you get a good amount of time to do your assignments. Also, if you have a valid reason, you can get your deadline extended. This alleviates the stress of a busy week and emails are responded to quickly. We also learn all our content at a good pace and take a lot of our quizzes on the AP website. This gives us practice on actual AP-like questions. However, because of COVID I don't know what this class would look like in person.

The workload is not very much. This class is good for those who would like to expand their art styles and learn about different painting techniques. I was able to work at a pace that worked for me in this class, and I never felt as if I were being left behind. If she provides you with external links for help or references I would encourage you to use them as it will help with your projects. There's not a lot of written work, it's pretty much just working on improving your art skills.

I also highly recommend paying attention and ethically completing her homework, it will help you greatly for the unit tests. (AP CHEMISTRY) I highly recommend anyone who wants to do well in this class to do a little bit of studying away from class. It is definitely one of the most difficult classes I've ever taken. The labs are not too difficult if you pay close attention to instruction. He doesn't assign too much homework; I found his homework load fairly manageable. The most difficult part of his class are the summatives. I'd recommend anyone taking his class to attend his office hours and ask questions about the test because he can be a little broad about what is going to be on the test in class. Office hours can also help with any other clarifying questions about concepts you don't understand.

In this class you will have to pay attention a lot, and I personally think that you should take a lot of notes even when you are not told to. Because she likes to sometimes ask people questions randomly. And it would help a lot during her tests and quizzes. This class talks a lot about medical terms obviously and that can be difficult to remember so taking notes and paying attention helps a lot. Her tests and quizzes are based on what you learned in class for the unit. And her assignments are based on the material you learned the day the assignment is uploaded. She is open about late work but you do not get full credit. She usually assigned two assignments per week. Personally, her class was difficult for me because I would have trouble paying attention and understanding the material. One thing about this class that threw me off was how some questions on the test were about material we never learned which made the test challenging. Overall this class was helpful if you want to be in the medical field. Personally, it was difficult for me.

In order to succeed in this class, you'll have to do your homework. Homework implies a lot of writing. The teacher makes you write down the whole thing with your answers in them. The homework can be a lot sometimes, but it's still doable. The other thing is that for tests and quizzes you'll have to study but he always goes over them before taking them. But the thing that is worth the most is projects. If you actually try you'll pass in this class but you have to put in some work.

Personally speaking, I was not a fan of his class. Math has always been one of my biggest weaknesses and that is probably one of the reasons why I didn't like it but another reason is because of the way he teaches. From my experience, it was not for me and I wish that it could've been a little bit more organized. I also wished that he didn't cut classes early for us to do things on our own because it wouldn't keep me engaged. For advice though, I believe that you should just pay attention, study formulas, and PRACTICE your weaknesses.

Over these past three years within the band program, I have come to believe that Dr. Wilke is an amazing teacher, and does an amazing job at helping us as an ensemble improve and grow as musicians. This class overall is very easy and tests don't happen much at all. If anything, I would just suggest practicing your instrument often if not daily while focusing on a specific weakness you have on your instrument. Of course, this is a band class so really all you have to do is to practice your instrument! This class is pretty chill overall as long as you're on top of your music so make sure to practice!

In this class, you have to pay attention to be able to learn the material because math is not an easy subject to learn if you do not pay attention. You take notes almost daily which helps with doing homework, and notes count a lot for grades. The notes help with homework, quizzes, and tests. She also posts the notes as videos or pictures which you can come back to or use if you miss a day. She is very open when it comes to late work. And you would still get full credit for the late work. She is a very easy person to talk to when it comes to asking questions or for help. And I personally do not like asking questions but in her class, I felt very comfortable with it. She makes her class environment very friendly and kind because of how she is always ready to help and goes at a pace you would like. She also has hours outside of class to get help, which is very helpful. And you can also email her for help with homework and questions. I enjoyed her class a lot because I learned a lot but was also very comfortable in the class.

In this class you learn a lot of stuff about video editing and some different programs. You also do fun video projects with classmates. In this class you have to pay attention because there is a lot of material you have to learn to be able to do the assignments and projects. During the class period he will teach you how to do certain things for the projects. He does not assign a lot of homework since the projects are split up into multiple parts and that’s what is considered homework. So do not slack when it comes to the assignments because if you miss on you are basically missing a part of a project. And if you miss a part of a project then it throws you off because you cannot continue without that part. One thing that I personally did not like at times because I'm a procrastinator, is that you would have to email him a lot to get things approved and that would take some time. Also he does not have tests, he has big projects that are due at the end of each semester. Overall this class was fun and very enjoyable thanks to the creative assignments.
