i had ms. diaz for life skills freshman year. she is really nice and is always there if you need anything. the class overall was fun and interesting and the only downside is the amount of work. you have to stay on task and not procrastinate if you want to pass. cell phones arent allowed and its best to be on time.

I had Miss Diaz for both Psychology 1 and Psychology 2, and honestly, if I had space for it in my schedule next year, I’d take Psychology 3 with her. She truly puts in so much effort into her teaching, and it’s evident that she cares about her students like they’re her own children. Her lessons were enjoyable, and easy to understand, as well as very emotional sometimes. I’ve known I wanted to be a psychology major for 2 years now, and taking my first psych class with Miss Diaz has definitely strengthened my desire to be a psych major even more. She is open, kind, and understanding with her students, and I think that’s why she is such a loved teacher. She even does these daily quotes that she shows us, and they’re really helpful. She has made me a more self-aware person, and I will never forget her and the lessons she has taught me. If you see her name on your schedule, just know you will definitely enjoy it!

This was such a stress relieving class for me. I had this class for both semesters of Psych 1 and 2. This class has a lot of note taking, but make sure to take the notes as it will help you learn more and succeed in the very few quizzes we had. This class was the one I participated the most in because there are a lot of group discussions and projects. Also, for participation sometimes we get extra credit... so make sure to be involved in this class as much as possible. It definitely helped me come out of my shell a little bit more. There wasn’t a lot of homework for this class, but she doesn’t accept anything late, so do not procrastinate. Overall, Ms. Diaz is such an understanding teacher and really cares about her students.

To succeed in this class there isn't much to do, this is a pretty easy class. Especially the teacher she makes it very easy and enjoyable. The only things you'll have to do is do your homework and just grammar check your work before submitting it because she's very picky with grammar. Other than that there's isn't much more to do to succeed in the class. If you do your work and participate in your class I guarantee you, you'll have an A. The only thing is to submit your work in time because she doesn't accept late work.

I really enjoyed Ms. Diaz's Psychology One class and felt that she really cared about her students. The topics we covered were extremely interesting, such as studying dreams and unusual psychology experiments, and I had fun doing the assignments she assigned, especially the ones that corresponded to the dream unit. The meditation unit was extremely helpful as well; I appreciated how she had her whole class participate in a group meditation one class which really helped to ground me mentally that day. After finishing her class, I found that I was able to better monitor my thoughts and feelings and had an increased awareness for my mental health in general. I gained a lot from her class and consider it one of the more valuable ones I have taken throughout high-school. Ms. Diaz does an excellent job teaching psychology, and if you are assigned Psychology One with her, know that you are in good hands.
