No curves on tests, homework is graded on correctness and not completion so be prepared to not get 100s on hw, lectures are boring, the AP exam is much easier compared to his classes as his tests are pretty difficult, on average a lot of seniors fail his class first semester and drop out second semester.

One piece of advice that would be useful for his class is that you will need to do a lot of outside learning in order to understand the concepts he will teach in his class. He does teach in his class, but based on my experience, I had to watch many videos and read the textbook in order to learn rather than clarify concepts taught in class. Another piece of advice is that you will need to do a lot of memorizing for the class. His tests will be expecting you to memorize all the key aspects of the chapters, so it is best to make some sort of sheet that helps you memorize the formulas in the chapter. It should be made clear that he is trying his best to teach, but he doesn't give enough information, so it is sadly left to you as the student to learn most of the material, but don't underestimate him, as he does teach well, and I respect that.

I had this class for BC, and the best advice is to learn the course yourself on top of the class. Start spending a lot of extra time dedicated to learning the material and understanding the concepts. The class can be very challenging if you don't know whats going on ahead of time, but once you learn to do everything on your own, the classes will start to make sense. This is a class that you actually need a mix of self studying, connections with really smart people, and a strong will so you don't end up giving up. It might even be argued that it is more productive for you during the classes to simply just learn the material yourself by watching Khan academy or Prucha videos. However, there are times where this class is very useful to pay attention to, but these moments are far too scarce to outweigh your own study time.

A lot of the concepts build on each other, so mastering the first few chapters is necessary.

You have to look at the notes, practice problems, hw, textbook, and youtube videos to understand the course well enough. He is very strict and will confront you about not showing up to class and being marked absent. The tests are hard and he isn't lenient.
