It is clear how much he loves the subject, which makes the class interesting. It is a lot to take in but definitely make sure you are getting help from him. He is always available for questions and help, so take advantage of that. Ask a lot of questions, and do the work to get the practice, and you'll do great!

Make sure to fully understand key concepts, not just memorizing formulas. This helps make sure you won't get tripped up by different questions.

I was in Calculus BC, and some advice I would give is to do every single homework problem. Mr. Prucha assigns certain problems for a reason so don't skip any because you will need the practice. Also, make sure to start the homework before the day it is due so you can asks questions in class.

For Mr. Prucha’s Calculus BC class, the class is very very difficult. Even though I took Calculus AB before this class, the material was quite challenging and rigorous. The homework problems are much simpler than those on quizzes and test, but serve as a great foundation for learning the basic concepts. There are always a lot of homework problems, in order to get full credit, a few questions can be omitted. However, the questions that you don’t understand are the ones that you should spend the most time and effort on. Mr. Prucha creates content videos, which are very useful, and some of the concepts that he mentions are not mentioned in the textbook, so it is very useful and important to watch the content videos and lectures that he makes, despite how long the videos are.

AP Calculus BC is quite a challenging class but with dedication and effort, you will be able to master the concepts. Many of the concepts introduced in this class were new to me which meant that I had to put in a lot of effort into studying. If math isn't something that you genuinely enjoy then this class will be much harder than it already is. The homework assignments are weighted roughly the same as the test assignments which gives some cushioning for your grade if you were to do horribly on a test. Also, Mr. Prucha helps significantly in guiding you through the process of understanding the material and preparing for the AP exam. If you even find yourself struggling with a concept or problem, ask questions since Mr. Prucha is always there to help. Overall, this class was a huge jump from H/Pre-calculus but if you are willing to put in the time then you will be on the right track.

Mr Prucha has been my math teacher for my junior and senior year and the way he taught his class aswell as who he was a person really made me have a new found love for math. His class does have a pretty heavy work load but it is college level math so it is to be expected. Everyday there is always something fun going on in his class. No one ever leaves his class without laughs shared. I will forever be greatful for the experience that is Mr Pruchas math class.

The class is pretty difficult in my humble opinion, so make sure you do all the work and study before tests. Also, chapter 8 is really confusing so try to stay focused. Mr. Prucha explains things well so you will be fine as long as you pay attention.

Mr. Prucha is one of the best math teachers that I have had in my life. He is very understanding and goes over homework questions every single day in class. Any questions that you have, he will consider and do his best to answer. He also responds to homework questions that you send on email very quickly and thoughtfully. Do not hesitate to ask him any questions and participate in class!

He has a passion and enthusiasm for math, and loves it when students show this, too. He is more inclined to help students who have shown that they put in the effort to pass the class compared to those who have not, for instance when rounding grades. But don't worry, only about 90% of the class is related to math, the other 10% he usually talks about his family or some random story, which makes for a nice change of pace.
