Emily Panico

The material in this class is very interesting. There is a lot of collaboration done in the class. There are assignments assigned regularly, but they aren’t too hard or time consuming. Projects, tests, and quizzes are regularly done, but they aren’t too difficult. The projects were very interesting and fun to do. Notes were put online to access after the class. Ms. Panico was a great teacher all throughout the year and I thoroughly enjoyed her class.

Pay attention to the slides

In order to succeed in this class it’s important to pay attention while Ms Panico is doing presentations, and take notes if you need to. Try not to procrastinate on assignments because most of them are fairly short, and don’t require a ton of effort. This class will be pretty easy if you have an interest for forensic science and as long as you stay on top of your work. There’s a little bit of math needed for this class as well, so make sure you know basic algebra. Lastly, pay attention to everything Ms Panico says in class because sometimes she’ll throw in trick questions during the test that aren’t about the unit, but about something she’s said about herself during class.

One piece of advice is to get homework started as soon as it is assigned. The homework doesn't usually take a lot of time, but if you procrastinate on it, then you might not be able to turn it in on time, as it does take a while to complete. Another piece of advice is to organize your notes, as keeping track of your notes will help you to easily memorize things you learned for your tests. She does allow open note tests, so utilize that to your advantage and make sure you have the correct notes for when you are taking your test. Also, be a team player, as there will be tests where you are required to work with others and she does mark you if you didn't participate, so make sure to talk to your classmates when testing and help contribute to solving the problem.

This is the funniest class you can take at Logan. This class was so much fun and I enjoyed everything from looking at crime scenes to looking at pictures of frozen bodies. You will have to create crime scenes, take notes, and a lot of fun stuff that you will enjoy. One thing I can say about this class is that it was not boring. The tests are a little hard but if you focus on the unit you will do good in the class. This class doesn't have too much homework so make sure to do class work because that is most of your grade.
