In this class there was a lot of participation, you would have to answer questions out loud. Which was personally something that I usually do not like to do, but being online helped a lot. You will have to make sure you have your textbook open and know when your turn to answer is. When it comes to homework he was very flexible, he would assign assignments maybe every two weeks. But he did not accept late work. His tests were not difficult because they were all multiple choice, which was less stressful than tests from other classes. His tests would be on a google form, which was comforting because I was familiar with it. If you ever had questions you can stay behind after class or join the class early to talk to him. Overall I enjoyed his class because of how he made learning Spanish more simple and relaxed. And the class was not difficult for me personally.

This Spanish 3 class has definitely taught me more than I knew before. Due to me taking this class during the pandemic, it may vary what his teaching style is like during class. For us he taught us straight out of the textbook and called us by alphabetical order for each activity. He didn’t make us turn in anything except the written presentations we had to do at the end of each unit. There were some oral presentations, but nothing too difficult. Just make sure to study the vocabulary in each unit to succeed in the tests given at the end of every unit. I wouldn’t say I necessarily learned a lot, as I would in other classes, but Mr. Cobos is very understanding of all of his students.

Speaking honestly, I probably went into Mr. Cobos's Spanish 3 class knowing more Spanish than when I came out of it. He teaches straight from the textbook and has everyone participate by going down a roll sheet. Because of this strategy, I did not learn much since I only used Spanish about three separate times in each class. The tests and assignments he assigns are easy as well, and I feel that I was not able to fully enhance my Spanish knowledge with this. Even so, Mr. Cobos is very understanding of his student's individual situations, and he is more than willing to extend an assignment due date or let you take a semester final before or after the rest of your class does if you give him reason to have him do so. To keep up with your Spanish in his class, my best advice is to study well on your own and look for outside sources that will help you practice more frequently.

I believe this is not accurate for the class at the moment. But he does help you in class a lot, it makes up for not being available as much after class. During class if you ask for help on what he is saying, he will attempt to say it slower before translating. Asking for words that weren't mentioned when doing short answers so you can say what you want instead of being confined to the vocabulary they mentioned is awesome too. I asked for a website during class to help with conjugations and he gave me a list. During class its mostly reading and following along in the books with activities. If you don't respond that's fine, you won't get participation points but the same question is asked. It doesn't just get skipped because someone was unable to respond or got the answer wrong. He makes sure that what is being asked is understood before proceeding.

Make sure to just pay close attention to the activities that we do in class. Also always study for the chapter tests because the tests are the main things that will keep your grade up. Overall I think it is a fairly decent class just make sure to always study. Also make sure to do the homework as well so they can help you. You will need to memorize a lot of words for each chapter because they will come up in the test.
