Overall, this class is pretty easy as long as you stay on top of your work, and make sure to study and review whatever you learn in class daily. Of course, this is a language course so it's important to always review whatever you're taught. I think the lessons were all simple and easy, you just need to make sure you're paying full attention. She's always available after school in case you have late work to turn in or have any questions about the material! If anything, just keep studying and reviewing all material learned and you should be fine. Practicing the language at home or with native speakers will definitely help you out with pronunciation as well as grammatical errors if you practice it constantly. I always would practice talking to my parents in Filipino which was super helpful.

Try other outlets to learn the language so you are more familiar with it through different things such as songs or even TV shows so that you can have an understanding of how the language is spoken.

From my experience, I really loved her class. Starting off with the lessons, I believe that they were rather easy and straight forward, all you really need to do is take notes and memorize the information given. An example of things that you would need to memorize is vocabulary, conjugating, and sentence format. She gives a lot of material to use and I found that really helpful so don't forget to use your resources! In the end, the class is smooth sailing if you understand the material and turn in your assignments.

To thrive in this class, you have to be willing to learn the language or have a purpose in taking the class. I wanted to learn Tagalog so that I could communicate with my other family members in their more comfortable language. Learning sentence structure is fairly easy and once you get the patterns down, you will be able to speak well. Not only that, but you must memorize a lot of vocabulary. This portion may be a bit hard but using platforms such as Quizlet helps a lot.

The class itself isn’t hard. As long as your practicing and understanding everything then you should be fine. If you find yourself struggling just keep practicing until you get it right, or just ask for help. It’s really an easy class to pass as long as your putting in the right effort.
