Do the summer assignment because he does grade them, get familiar with the concepts from the summer assignment such as the ethos, logos, pathos etc. Do not procrastinate and stay on top of your work because it will catch up to you. Try to do all of the ap practices and watch some ap videos.

With AP Language, make sure utilize all that AP classroom gives you. It offers practice tests, checkups, videos, etc. Make sure you use those to get a good grasp of what's on the test. In class I'd say to stay on top of the reading. Getting behind can set you back quite a lot. Luckily a lot of teachers are lenient. So you can mostly likely make plans with teachers in order to get your grades up, if you were to fall behind.

I'd like to start off by saying that you'll really enjoy this class if you get Mr. Campbell. During class, he makes things pretty fun by talking about many stories which will really get the class focused, while giving laughs every now and then. One thing I'd like to get out there is to make sure you stay on top of your work. In this class, Mr. Campbell is lenient and will take late work but if you'd like to save yourself the unnecessary stress, don't hold off all your assignments and do them all at once at the end of the semester. Honestly, this class is pretty easy as long as you stay on top of your work and actively listen during discussions in class as it will help prepare you for the AP exam when going over papers. All the work assigned will really help prepare you for the exam.

In this class you have to pay attention to help you prepare for the AP exam which is towards the end of the year. But you also have to pay attention to be able to do the assignments which are based on what you learned in class that day. The homework is manageable, it is not too much. The homework is about two assignments per week which was doable. He is very open about late work as long as you get it all in before the semester is over. He also accepts late work and you get full credit. He did not have a lot of tests, and if he did they were short quizzes in the AP classroom. A lot of the assignments were interesting, like the videos we watched in the class were very interesting. This class was very enjoyable because it always had such a positive environment. It was personally the class I looked forward to because I felt like I could relax for a few minutes before learning. I loved the conversation the class had at the beginning of class. I also liked how understanding he was towards his students. A tip I would give is to not procrastinate and stay on top of your assignments. Overall this class was very enjoyable and fun.
