Ms. Kuei's class is a lot easier than the horror stories I have heard. She gives a huge amount of extra credit and it is possible to have a 110% in her class. If you are one of the top 15 students you don't have to take the final. The quizzes are harder than the tests. The quizzes are short answer questions and the tests are basically homework problems. Make sure you do your work diligently and make sure to prepare for the labs. She is hard to understand some times but her jokes are sometimes funny. I liked her class. Good luck!

There will be many group projects, so try to find friends in the class early on in the year. Writer's Block can be very helpful, so try to get help from them for your essays.

Typical English class, but essays are challenging. Vocab is tiresome and pure memorization. There are plenty of games and activities in class which is fun. Mr. Marple is a nice guy, but his teaching style is a bit odd. He goes a while without assigning anything, so you start to think the class is easy, but then he overloads you with work randomly and you barely have time to finish it. Fun class, but a lot of busy work.

Kim Mathis basically made students learn the content on our own by reading the textbook and answering questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the tests. Her tests were super difficult and most students did poor on them. She graded really hard and it’s unreasonable because she never even taught us anything anyway. The actual class is a waste of time. She would get mad if someone made a small peep or put their heads down.
