-Memorize everything. EVERYTHING. Not just from the reading notes she gives you, nor the lectures she gives. Read the whole section from the book, and the tests include everything. She says to study the reading notes that she gives, but it's realistically only 50% of the test where most of it you're clueless. She won't have the resources to help you, like Google Classroom and Aries. OH YEAH... Be specific on the free response questions because she is looking for a specific answer, but somehow you have to be brief in a way, too? She says she doesnt want to read all that. ;/

You need to study about 45-60 minutes everyday her class. Also don't forget to memorize everything. Also don't expect her to teach you everything, as you will need to learn stuff on your own for tests.

Kim Mathis basically made students learn the content on our own by reading the textbook and answering questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the tests. Her tests were super difficult and most students did poor on them. She graded really hard and it’s unreasonable because she never even taught us anything anyway. The actual class is a waste of time. She would get mad if someone made a small peep or put their heads down.

Mathis gives quizzes/tests pretty much every week, memorization is key. Be sure to pay attention and take notes when she says to because she doesn't like repeating herself. Also be sure to check both sides of your paper and read instructions carefully because she can be picky.
