Go over his slides and you'll be just about fine. Textbook is supplementary and I wouldn't advise centering all your practice on that. Some topics are exclusively taught by Mr. Kim. Practice a lot and it will be okay for the most part.

Pay attention during the lectures. Take good notes. Mrs. Koch can be intimidating at first, but pay closer attention and you'll probably find her to be a reasonable person. Just have common sense, listen to directions, and work hard, and you'll succeed.

The binder checks can get annoying, but they are very helpful and try to take notes while the teacher is talking. Overall, the class is pretty good!

Her biology class is one of the hardest science classes in MV, especially as a freshman. You should capitalize on your resources in this class; go to all of her tutorial periods and retake everything you are able to. Try to review material once a week.

Take notes in class. Mostly no homework at all, everything is done in class, so it is up to you to make sure you go to the study sessions before unit tests, ASK QUESTIONS, know the material, and pay attention in class. He's very lenient on using your phone/and or listening to music in class, as in do your work, don't bother people, and show the results in your grades, and then you're fine. Don't use your phone too much or else the impression is bad. Very chill and fun class, and learned a lot.
