I had Mr. Lordan for AP Physics 1. The class has a chill environment. There are only a few tests per semester, and the final is worth about 2 tests, so make sure you study hard. There are retake opportunities but it's only up to 80%. Make sure to really understand the concepts and ask if you have questions. He is more than happy to answer any questions. Homework can be a bit tedious, so find a way to get through it as efficiently as you can. Take good notes (don't BS them for the hw credit) and I recommend making a master notes sheet of all the big concepts from a unit right before the test. Make use of the previous year exams as practice and take them timed.

Take notes in class. Mostly no homework at all, everything is done in class, so it is up to you to make sure you go to the study sessions before unit tests, ASK QUESTIONS, know the material, and pay attention in class. He's very lenient on using your phone/and or listening to music in class, as in do your work, don't bother people, and show the results in your grades, and then you're fine. Don't use your phone too much or else the impression is bad. Very chill and fun class, and learned a lot.
