Howard sensei is the best teacher ever! I came in not knowing anything and within the first couple of months I could fluently read and write in hiragana and by the end of first semester, I could fluently read and write katakana. You learn so much in this class and it's so much fun. My sophomore year was very boring for me but I always looked forward to 7th period Japanese because of how fun it is! Sensei is extremely understanding and will make sure you learn so much. Japanese is hands-down the best language class you can take at MV, because it's so much fun and you learn so much.
