A very hard class, you can either get a very high score or a very low score on the tests, and completely based on luck because some problems are directly from study material and some are never seen before.
Do *all* of the formative assignments because they are free points. Participate in the fishbowl discussions and ask questions in them, don't lose points on those. Take notes on the stuff he says in class as they are very helpful for the assignments and essays. For summative essays, ask for feedback on them definitely.
Chang Laoshi is one of the best teachers at Monta Vista. She will always be willing to help you if you get a low score on a test, or any assignment. She will go out of her way to make sure you are successful in her class. Make sure to do the homework in order to memorize everything.
just read the actual books and you'll be fine. ask for help if you need it, she will be way more willing to help if you just ask.
