took him twice for both organic chemistry and general chemistry, very fair exams and very similar to what he does in class. He sends weekly assignments for practice make sure you do them and review them before the exam, and focus on redoing the examples he give in class. Otherwise, his slides are veryyy clear and helpful.
sabbah is a veryy good teacher. if you do all his worksheets, you'll be more than ready for the tests and you'll do well in the class
Advice for integral calculus/cal II/NYB ** This is a tough class, you need to be solid on Cal I material ** You cannot do the minimum and expect a good result, if you don't tryhard you will get < 60. I took this class online and he gave quizzes almost every week with material from the previous classes, so you cannot run behind by any means. Do not try to cheat because he is very very concerned about this issue, one of our tests got cancelled because he tough some of us cheated but we didn't. Learning notions before he teaches them can be very useful. There's a lot of HW but if you do all of them it will be very helpful
You can have your calculators as electronics only. VERY good at explaining honestly the best! Easy grader but he's strict with his method of teaching but its really for your own good Highly recommend
Overall my experience was not too bad. He does a great job at teaching and he is very helpful plus he is funny BUT his tests are sooooooo hard, so make sure to study! Go to his classes and do not skip but most importantly WRITE DOWN A LOT OF NOTES, you need to write down everything he says out loud. Something that he mentions out loud only once for like 2 seconds in class can be in the test. In labs, there are microscopes on display, make sure to take pictures of them and memorize them even if it is not in the lab study guide, bc they still might end up on the test! That would be the advice I wished I knew before taking his class. His class is hard; but it do-able.
