I had him for Linear Algebra. Just do all of the homework he assigns. they dont count to the final grade, but do your best to understand them all and you'll do fine. You must be able to understand the concepts well to make connections. He doesn't share his notes, so take note of everything he says and pay special attention to the way he solves problems in class.

This class is not for everyone. His teaching style is very good he is a great teacher. I personally loved him and his teaching style. Took Calculus-II with him. Currently, I am debating whether to retake him or not next semester as it was one of the hardest class I took in College because his tests are difficult, he does not allow a calculator and don't even think about your phone. He gives decent amount of homework. His final exam is usually easier than his tests so you can do good. Class average is usually low so you can get a good r score. He is a great teacher if you think you are a hardworker and can keep up with his pace take him otherwise not. I loved his teaching style.

Advice for integral calculus/cal II/NYB ** This is a tough class, you need to be solid on Cal I material ** You cannot do the minimum and expect a good result, if you don't tryhard you will get < 60. I took this class online and he gave quizzes almost every week with material from the previous classes, so you cannot run behind by any means. Do not try to cheat because he is very very concerned about this issue, one of our tests got cancelled because he tough some of us cheated but we didn't. Learning notions before he teaches them can be very useful. There's a lot of HW but if you do all of them it will be very helpful

if you are a first semester and this class is chosen for you, please do what you can to switch out. it is so much work and additional stress. you only have 1 or 2 attempts in the webworks and only 24 hours to do them . all other classes have an entire week and unlimited attempts. the tests are very hard too... GOOD LUCK AND SENDING U MY LOVE

it is a hard class, you should pay attention and take notes. you should observe how he solve problems because in the exam he wants the method seen in class otherwise you will lost all the marks for the question. this year, there were a lot of webworks that you should do it in 24 hours and send the steps. my advice to "pass" you should practice, do homework, read, ask questions in class, organize your self. Good luck.

Should I get this teacher or not? Not unless you are dedicated to learning Cal II "for real" He is tough but not to the point where passing is impossible. I would just say that if your Calculus level is not great you better off with another teacher
