took him twice for both organic chemistry and general chemistry, very fair exams and very similar to what he does in class. He sends weekly assignments for practice make sure you do them and review them before the exam, and focus on redoing the examples he give in class. Otherwise, his slides are veryyy clear and helpful.
Ace your take home quizzes, its great practice for the exam. He is so sweet and answers to every question. Quite perfectionnist on the labs lol but its all good. The final exam for us wasn't common, but it went really well. His exams style is quite good and easy to get some free points. I had a great time in this class even if I hate chemistry
Study extra examples from the book. He brings examples which appear to be easy but are complicated. Somewhat based on his notes, but way way more developed. Basically, practice and you should get at least 80s
I had this teacher during online school for organic chemistry 1. There were weekly assignments, a few labs and a final exam. The weekly assignments were okay since we were allowed to use our notes. I would recommend memorizing the chemical reactions as early as possible because the course requires a lot of memorization. The final exam was fair and the questions were similar to that of the assignments.
When I had him online, your mark mainly is determined by the weekly assignments and the final exam. It is super easy to get good marks on the weekly assignments, since they're almost exactly like the examples he shows in class. It is SOOOO important to do well on these, because the exam is NOTHING like any of the assignments. Be prepared to do really bad because he pulls out questions with a difficulty level of 30000. So if you fail, at least you did well on the assignments which is almost half your grade. He explains pretty good. Always is ready to answer questions.
