If you have to take any sort of chemistry classes and you have sonny as an option, run and grab him immediately because he is the best teacher for chemistry any day of the week. He replies fast and is always available for help. His exams are more challenging in terms of theoretical questions, but the rest is usually pretty easy as long as you practice enough and also learn the theory well enough.

took him twice for both organic chemistry and general chemistry, very fair exams and very similar to what he does in class. He sends weekly assignments for practice make sure you do them and review them before the exam, and focus on redoing the examples he give in class. Otherwise, his slides are veryyy clear and helpful.

Ace your take home quizzes, its great practice for the exam. He is so sweet and answers to every question. Quite perfectionnist on the labs lol but its all good. The final exam for us wasn't common, but it went really well. His exams style is quite good and easy to get some free points. I had a great time in this class even if I hate chemistry

I had him for 'Organic chemistry'. The Best chem teacher i've had in all these years in Vanier. He's super chill and is always willing to help. I recommend attend all his lectures, because he really explains well (like org. chem tutor youtube). Also, i highly suggest go to his office hours EVERY WEEK to check with the homeworks to verify your answers, and also your lab assignments. He is always there to answer all your questions. There were NO quizzes, only assignments, and i find that MUCH BETTER than having quizzes every week! Tests are fair, like the ones done in lectures.
