- Follow along and complete work in class when given free time that way there is less homework to do. Biology is content heavy and the work usually piles up if left last minute. - Form study groups with your peers and review content together, but only after you studied the material individually. Otherwise, the group session is unproductive. - For this specific class and teacher, study absolutely everything because anything from the slides and/or lectures can be tested on.

His tests and quizzes have a lot of short answers questions, make sure you copy down his exact wording (word for word) or he'll take part marks off. These questions will also appear on the exam, he reuses questions a lot. Ask a lot of questions and participate, don't be on your phone during class or he'll call you out.

Math with debnath is 100% dependant on you. If you dont do the practice you will fail, if you don't focus, you will fail. no external pressure in this course to do well, it's all on you! Sounds tough, but if you can make the time to work hard and practice - it is VERY easy to succeed in this course. Best of luck!

- make sure you pay attention to key words she uses while analyzing/explaining text, and copy it down on the essays - she usually doesn't give great feedbacks or pointers to improve so use past essays to get a general feel of what she wants - she is very flexible with due dates and will usually modify it if majority of the class wants to - generally fun class but can get a bit annoying if your writing style doesn't suit what she wants

- Study Hard - Follow her methods and only her methods - Don't ask questions unless you plan on being made of fun - Tests can be simplistic but pay attention to detail especially for word problems regardless of which grade your in.

AP advanced functions -- she teaches really well and is always avaliable for help, you can ask her homework questions every day and she wouldn't care, so take advantage of that. Her tests can have some complex questions though, best advice is to do past tests or do waterloo grade 12 math questions to prepare. Also try to do the homework each day so you do not fall behind as she teaches a new unit every day.

Use old tests as practice, his questions for new unit tests are often the same concepts but with different words and numbers. They're way better practice than the textbook, so just skip the textbook if you're not struggling with the class work.

If you have Ghandi as a specific teacher, drop the class. Either OVS or try budging into another English class. Mr. Ghandi has a sort of "favoritism" hierarchy. Unless you're a female, he will not care about you and will not help you, and won't respond to your emails either. As a class, English should be something you do well in, if the ENTIRE class averages a 50 on every test, I don't think that's the student body's fault, but the teacher's marking + teaching methods. Mr. Ghandi is a good teacher in the sense where he explains things and has a deep understanding, which I respect. But to tell people that they aren't paying attention in class when the WHOLE class bombs every test, has no correlation with studying.

she cares a lot about participation, she has seminars in her grade 10 history class, so make sure you speak up and contribute at least a few times in the discussion. much of the homework also consist of research, inferencing, and reading, this is prep for the culminating project which is a research essay + presentation. overall, her history class is more about making connections and analyzing history than it is memorizing facts. make sure to show initiative and be engaged

calc and vectors -- she uses questions from the textbook hw questions on her tests, she is pretty open to questions, she sometimes explain concepts way faster than it could be understood (especially for vectors), so do the homework consistently and review her notes. Her tests aren't generally hard, on some occasion there is maybe 1 or 2 difficult questions, just review all concepts and be prepared for all types of questions

Don't focus on memorizing formula's it will come with time DO THE HOMEWORK IT COUNTS AND IT WILL BOOST YOUR GRADE IF YOU DIDN'T DO GREAT ON TESTS Ask questions on what you don't understand because chances are it will show up on your test

The teacher does not give any prior information on the expectations she withholds for any assignments. She does not hand back assignments within a given time frame of 2-3 weeks, where she, in turn, gives it back after 2 months, close to when our exam was held. When asking her a question on previous assignments, minimal feedback was given. Students had to learn Shakespeare on their own as she only put on audio and gave out basic questions rather than analyzing significant moments in the play. For the novel study unit, we were given an 800- page book while other classes had a maximum of a 400-page book to read and do assignments in a short period of time.

if you have him second semester ur actually golden🙏 his tests are very similar to past ones so find those and use them for practice. While he might seem kinda scary at first, he’s actually very funny and makes a lot of jokes and he’s super chill just make sure to listen to ALL of his instructions because he’s very strict about following them (but they’re usually straightforward and not hard to follow) overall this class was super epic and I enjoyed it

Just finished my grade 12 year physics class with Ms. Trottier with a 94. First test I had a 80 and thought it was over, but came back. This class is not bad, you just have to strategize. Do the homework! Most of the word problems or similar are on the homework. Also try finding past test papers- almost the same! Multiple choice is the hardest- find old textbooks on where she gets them. I found all of them on a old pdf copy on the web. The labs are free 100%- helps boost you towards the end of the course (I think 15% of ur overall grade). For exam, understand each question from the tests and do all the h. w questions until u understand them.

I had her for my SHSM foundations class, and she's honestly the nicest teacher I have ever had! The class in general entailed a lot of memorization, and she gave us a lot of time and practice worksheets to prepare in advance. Before she was even my teacher, I have seen her do one on one conversations with students on how they can improve their marks, and she truly does love teaching and will go the extra step for her students.
