AP advanced functions -- she teaches really well and is always avaliable for help, you can ask her homework questions every day and she wouldn't care, so take advantage of that. Her tests can have some complex questions though, best advice is to do past tests or do waterloo grade 12 math questions to prepare. Also try to do the homework each day so you do not fall behind as she teaches a new unit every day.

I took Grade 10 Destreamed math (MTH2D0), which isn't too difficult of a course (compared to Grade 11 math). The material is quite straightforward, and is quite easy once you understand the concepts and solutions.

Ms Dwarka is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is extremely good at explaining concepts, and walking us through material at a pace where everyone can understand. She keeps her class fun-we sometimes do these fun activities that still do include math, but is different from the traditional pen and paper (for example, we played bingo for our trigonometry unit, and the first few winners got a prize). She is really easy to talk to, and she always says hi whenever I see her in the hallways. She is very approachable, so it is easy for me (an introvert who is a bit socially awkward) to talk to her and ask for clarifications. She also clearly cares for her students, letting us know about opportunities (like COY or Scholars) that can help us understand math a bit better, and she also provided those who didn't do so well on the unit test to retake it during lunch (which she would look at improvement and mark accordingly).
