she cares a lot about participation, she has seminars in her grade 10 history class, so make sure you speak up and contribute at least a few times in the discussion. much of the homework also consist of research, inferencing, and reading, this is prep for the culminating project which is a research essay + presentation. overall, her history class is more about making connections and analyzing history than it is memorizing facts. make sure to show initiative and be engaged

tests are pretty easy, usually 20 multiple choice questions that are pure memorization, then primary source analysis/essay questions.

tests are pretty easy, usually 20 multiple choice questions that are pure memorization, then primary source analysis/essay questions. Make sure you talk during class discussions, even if you're just saying the same thing someone else said- it's easy and it'll get you marks. Lots of variety for essay/project topics. Marks based on consistency so if you mess up one test it won't matter too much

Ms Greenaway is the funniest, wittiest, most kindhearted individual I have ever had the blessing of meeting. Every word from her lips is incredible.

Great teacher- she knows the material really well and marks fairly and she has a sense of humour. Generally pretty open minded- write whatever you want in your essay as long as it makes sense and you can get a good mark- except in gr 10 history when you do the indigenous unit- don't present a differing opinion then because she'll shut you down.
