- make sure you pay attention to key words she uses while analyzing/explaining text, and copy it down on the essays - she usually doesn't give great feedbacks or pointers to improve so use past essays to get a general feel of what she wants - she is very flexible with due dates and will usually modify it if majority of the class wants to - generally fun class but can get a bit annoying if your writing style doesn't suit what she wants

TAKE NOTES - its so important to take notes in her english class you will not pass if you don't - I suggest using sticky notes so you can stick them straight in the book STUDY FOR THE TEST - you might be able to get away with a few tests but for the most part you're going to need to study

Read the books but no need to take notes. We only had a couple quizzes other than the exam and they were easy and weren't worth a lot of marks. She'll give you a list of essay topics, but if you propose your own topic she'll probably let you do it. Go for extra help/feedback in the morning if you can. Even if she just says its good, it makes her think you're responsible- especially if you need to ask for an extension (which she'll for sure give you)

Class of 2022
She's really nice and cares about her students, but she's not the smartest teacher I've ever had. She doesn't really seem to understand the reading material and she doesn't stop talking. She's not even saying important things, she just says the same thing over and over in different ways. Bring something else to do. She also plays all the different versions of the movie adaptation of the books/plays you're reading so get ready to sit through that
