TAKE NOTES - its so important to take notes in her english class you will not pass if you don't - I suggest using sticky notes so you can stick them straight in the book STUDY FOR THE TEST - you might be able to get away with a few tests but for the most part you're going to need to study

Read the books but no need to take notes. We only had a couple quizzes other than the exam and they were easy and weren't worth a lot of marks. She'll give you a list of essay topics, but if you propose your own topic she'll probably let you do it. Go for extra help/feedback in the morning if you can. Even if she just says its good, it makes her think you're responsible- especially if you need to ask for an extension (which she'll for sure give you)
