Ensure to participate during class, and ask questions when you are unsure. Make use of all the review packages and homework sheets Mr. Barber gives out. Take good, detailed notes during class. If you use class time wisely, you will probably finish any homework you have during the class. Bring your textbook to class every day if possible; it's much easier to work from the textbook directly than using the online version.
Ask questions, and show an interest in the topics in the course. Take good notes in class — don't write more than you must; Mr. Bower appreciates good note-taking skills. Make use of materials and study guides provided, and check the textbook for information to use for projects.
Ask questions during class — especially when you are confused, but also ask inquiry questions to strengthen your understanding of the topics. Watch all the videos and do all the activity sheets given — they are very informative and also interesting. When working in a group, ensure to share your ideas, because it is very helpful to hear different opinions on the issues. If you finish your work early, you should begin the next step in the task, to save time in the next work period. Participate as much as possible, and display interest in the course as well!
