Ask questions during class — especially when you are confused, but also ask inquiry questions to strengthen your understanding of the topics. Watch all the videos and do all the activity sheets given — they are very informative and also interesting. When working in a group, ensure to share your ideas, because it is very helpful to hear different opinions on the issues. If you finish your work early, you should begin the next step in the task, to save time in the next work period. Participate as much as possible, and display interest in the course as well!

Mr. Buie taught me grade 9 geography, but is also my guidance counsellor. He is a great teacher for both, as he is very enthusiastic, supportive, and helpful.
