Make sure to take writing assignments seriously because at the beginning it might seem a bit tough. If you try to do well in the class I am sure than your skills in writing will improve. The first marking period is always the hardest but if you strive to do well then you will be set for the rest of the year. It's a great class and you will learn a lot and you will have a lot of fun with the projects you will do! Also she gives a lot of extra credit opportunities so do those!
Make sure you are paying attention to everything in class. There are some cases where information barely covered in class will appear on a test. If you want to take AP Chemistry, you have to be willing to put in the extra work. It is not anything like Honors Chemistry and you should be prepared to deal with some topics that involve various math concepts. Take lots of notes and review material thoroughly prior to taking any test.
Sra. Regal is an amazing teacher. She explains the content very thoroughly and is always available to help during lunch. Thanks to those traits, this class is very manageable. There isn't usually too much homework, and we spend plenty of time on each of the subjects we cover.
