The course is very difficult, you have to self-study and learn the material on your own, I would recommend staying over the summer.
This class should be fairly easy to manage as long as you pay attention. Mr. Connolly is very good at explaining the content in multiple ways, and you can always ask a question if you need to. I took AP Computer Science A, so all of the content we learned in class was also available on the CollegeBoard website. If you ever need help outside of class, you can either email Mr. Connolly or check the CollegeBoard website for info.
I didn't have him as a teacher, however my brother did. He said he was a great teacher who taught everything clearly. He also said that all the practice packets he gave his students were basically the questions that were on the test, so if you were good at the practice then you were good for the test. Unfortunately, he has retired from teaching.
