Set your own goals and keep on top of your assignments. Mr. Arora is super nice!!! (which is a godsend sometimes) but this can mean that it's often up to you to stay on top of your work and regularly finish segments. In my experience, I've forgotten about a few assignments on Canvas so just check that regularly!!! This class is great for building a portfolio and developing your creative skills so don't waste your time!!!!!

AP Calculus is taught like a 3 (possibly 4) credit college level course. The general rule of thumb for this 2 hours per credit hour spent on work outside of class time (so 6-8 hours). The best way I would describe this class is fair. Mr. Jernigan and the other math teachers will give you every possible opportunity to succeed, as long as you take advantage of the resources provided. This means that it is really your fault if you are not doing well. Given the nature of the class, expect to spend many lunch days and mornings before the first bell working on calculus. Also, stay organized.
