Class of 2022

Mr. Klein is a really nice teacher who definitely cares a lot about the material! I think I might have been a bit of a teacher's pet, but I really liked all the books we read, as well as participating in discussions. His afternoon classes are definitely much more lively compared to his morning classes (where it would often take 5-10 minutes to finish sending emails and actually start class during 1st period). I found the poetry unit especially to just drag on and on. Besides that, AP Lit is a great class and Mr. Klein is a great professor! Especially during seminars, he gets involved and is great at leading and fostering discussion among the students. Additionally, AP Lit covers some mature topics and themes (sex/innuendos, christ figures, etc) which I found to be very interesting. Finally, the workload isn't too bad, so that's good. Also, Mr. Klein takes a little while (sometimes a few weeks) to get papers graded and grades updated, so try not to turn everything in at the last minute (he is very lenient on that, which is always nice). Anyways, highly recommend!!!
