Set your own goals and keep on top of your assignments. Mr. Arora is super nice!!! (which is a godsend sometimes) but this can mean that it's often up to you to stay on top of your work and regularly finish segments. In my experience, I've forgotten about a few assignments on Canvas so just check that regularly!!! This class is great for building a portfolio and developing your creative skills so don't waste your time!!!!!

Mr. Arora is legit like one of the nicest teachers I've ever had (especially at QO). He is an amazing resource if you need help, and is always there to offer support if you need it! His classes often have guest speakers which is really fun. TV production is a great class to improve skills in writing, journalism, creative film, graphic design, social media management, communication, editing, professional outreach, and so much more!!! It can be really scary to go on camera (and is certainly not necessary for the class) but it's a really good skill to have so don't be afraid to put yourself out there! I would also not stress too much about trying to complete the TV production pathway, as I never took AP Studio Art or did the internship and I still got a lot out of the class. My intro to interactive media class was cut short due to COVID, but TV Production (in my experience) was much more of a work/internship class than a class where Mr. Arora teaches you stuff. Most learning is done on your own/self-taught (which is fine! ), but just know what to expect. Finally, Mr. Arora's position as a teacher makes him a great contact with many other teachers, such as Mr. Simko (sports/digital art), Mr. Henry (theatre tech), and Mr. Rockwood (game dev), among many others! TV production is such a diverse class that you will meet people with your interests. Highly recommend!!!!!
