(AP Music Theory) - practice voice-leading on your own. Also, try applying the skills you learn to making your own songs!!!

Class of 2022
Ms. KV is AN ANGEL. She is SO NICE!!!!! I wish I had taken choir (but I did take AP Music Theory so I'll talk about that). Ms. KV is always happy and chipper, and is super chill with all the students. My Music Theory class was fairly small, and we all felt like one big family! Especially if you enjoy music theory (and possibly have a bit of prior knowledge like I did), then AP Music Theory is the ultimate chill and fun class. Pretty much all days are spent training for the AP exam, which is fine!!! I already practiced voice leading a bunch, but I would recommend you practice singing, as I found the allotted class time to not be enough (although I don't ever really sing at home). Anyways this class is super fun (especially if your classmates are chill) so I would definitely take it!!! (also it helps to already be in band/orchestra/choir/pit)
