The AP Bio lectures aren't enough to pass the test; self-study outside of class is definitely necessary. While the textbook is helpful, online lectures from college professors or other AP Bio teachers were my saving grace when it came to preparation for the actual AP test. The course will be easy for students with background knowledge in science compared to other courses like AP Chemistry or Physics.

Study before hand, and tried to used the notes that you take in class to study, it very beneficial and helpful. It would help u memorize the concepts and it helps you on the test.

Do your homework, ask for help, and study the vocabularies and rhetorical strategies as well. Never wait for the last minute to do your thesis or any types of writing.

Make sure you're reading the textbook to help with the weekly quizzes. The quizzes should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Rarely ever homework, unless you don't finish your classwork.

Ask for help if you need as he is mostly there till late after school, review/study for tests as tests weighs a lot on your grade, try to do your homework early, and read the textbook as much as possible.

Go to his class at lunch or before school if you're struggling; homework problems are good practice so make sure that you are doing them even though they aren't checked thoroughly

For World History it is definitely more difficult than expected considering it isn't an AP or Honors course. Basic memorization doesn't work the best in this class because all of the tests are short answer; the content has to actually be learned. She does a really good job at teaching the content and providing the materials needed to succeed in the class.
