Study before hand, and tried to used the notes that you take in class to study, it very beneficial and helpful. It would help u memorize the concepts and it helps you on the test.

Got her as my APES teacher this year. She very nice, helpful, give you a lot of extra credit opportunities, and also bringing us to different fun field trips almost every month to learn more about the environment. There are not that much homework, except project to do, and in the spring semester we have to work in group and build our own research project and presented to the symposium with mission high school. She also joke around sometimes. She make the class fun and interesting that you couldn't fall asleep in class. Her lecture was very helpful. She is one of my favorite teacher, that I'll never forget. The best teacher I could ever have. Would recommend you to take this class for APES.
