Always bring your work home if you can. Don ́t spend too much time studying for art history as you ́re basically told all you need to know right before the test.

I can't help the kids for art, but for the yearbook kids: watch out. This class takes a lot of dedication, and you can't just get your credit and forget about it, you'll be stuck with the end material you and your peers made. Make the quality of yearbook you would want to keep.

-SS notes you might need for later or you need help with - Do all the textbook questions (that's all you'll need to complete the homework) - exercise your fingers you'll need to type everything - be prepared - memorize atoms and the periodic table of elements

The class is great. The teacher does not know how to punish people, which can actually be frustrating sometimes seeing kids do weird stuff and not get in trouble for it, he's just way too nice. Art history is bull though, make sure you study or you're going to fail. Actually, you don't even have to study, literally just pay attention in lectures.

- practice hard for the tests. she might make it seem like not a big deal, but they are pretty lengthy and detailed - do the tasks that other people aren't doing (i. e. dish washing, drying the dishes, the "boring" tasks), she notices the little things - follow instructions to a tee - wash your hands often

Note taking and answering textbook questions happens daily in class and she is very slow at marking assignments and returning tests. Only explains things once and makes a scene out of people who are late for class.

Don’t say anything offensive. She is nice if you are nice to her, and vice versa. Prepare for summative work that occurs throughout the semester. Prepare ahead of time for everything. She never gives tests, likes writing so makes everyone write a lot. Most people hate her, but if you are chill in her class, and get to know her, she is pretty good.

- you will have to do lots of review and practice on your own time - follow the lab format exactly as how the example/rubric says to, full marks are guaranteed unless she instructs otherwise.

Ask clarification questions all the time. They might tell you to go back and check it yourself but find the strength in yourself to come again and ask your question because you are going to fail if you don’t!! ask them, make sure you know what the assignment looks for 200% more times than usual, and just listen very carefully to everything they say!

Understand the topic instead of listening to her explain it. She goes through way too many examples that may tempt people to just memorize how do questions, but doing it that way will not allow you to learn anything. She also marks hard on form, make sure you read each question thoroughly and don't exclude anything for your solutions, no matter how long it might be.
