Ask clarification questions all the time. They might tell you to go back and check it yourself but find the strength in yourself to come again and ask your question because you are going to fail if you don’t!! ask them, make sure you know what the assignment looks for 200% more times than usual, and just listen very carefully to everything they say!

memorize everything you learn work hard and follow rubrics to a tee you will have to bend over backwards to get 80s, so don't beat yourself up.

You have to go above and beyond to get a 70.

Follow everything she says, copy her examples. Don't go above and beyond as your grade will suffer for it. Any sort of creative writing freedom in this class does not exist, chuck any sort of passion you have for the subject out of the window. You don't actually learn English and the teacher's own skill is questionable at best.
