I had her for grade 9 math. I liked how she put everything on the daily plan so you know exactly what you’re doing in class that day, as well as the homework and textbook pages. I was told that she was a strict teacher with more homework than usual, but I got away with not doing too much of it and still getting a good grade. They were right about her being strict too, but I didn’t feel like that was a negative thing. She was a good balance of nice and strict. I think she’s not that bad of an teacher to have in your first year of high school.

Heroic classes are really fun, and she is really nice. She doesn't care about deadlines and won't take a mark off as long as you are only max one week late and there is no homework other than finishing the assignments given in class. There are some formative work that you should definitely do because they prepare you for the summative ones.

On assessments, such as tests and presentations, make sure to explain your ideas clearly, support them using concrete examples, and remember to tie them back together. From personal experience, Ms. Hofmann's class is super enjoyable and I learned so much while having fun. She is passionate about teaching, is always willing to help her students learn, a very responsible teacher, and an amazing person. Ms. Hofmann is the best English teacher ever, and I highly recommend her!
