The Reading Quizzes are super hard, but they are only a small part of your grade

Don't slack on the homework and really focus on memorizing the format of how to answer the prompts.

To study for the exams in AP Physics 1, do TONS of practice problems. This will help you more than just passively reading chapters of the book or looking over notes. Also, always do the assigned readings! Read the chapter enough times that you really understand the concept, complete the practice problems on your own before looking at the solutions, and take thorough notes on the readings. And most importantly, go to tutorial and ask questions! This class is very difficult but Mr. Appel is an amazing teacher and very approachable. He makes it clear that he wants to help you succeed :)
