To study for the exams in AP Physics 1, do TONS of practice problems. This will help you more than just passively reading chapters of the book or looking over notes. Also, always do the assigned readings! Read the chapter enough times that you really understand the concept, complete the practice problems on your own before looking at the solutions, and take thorough notes on the readings. And most importantly, go to tutorial and ask questions! This class is very difficult but Mr. Appel is an amazing teacher and very approachable. He makes it clear that he wants to help you succeed :)

Always do the extra credit things, for brain buffet (an adobe program) retake the pre assessments to get 100, as a study guide for the final test in each project, do the projects and turn them in, Its really hard to get an A in his class unless you get 100 on every assignment and project, he will not except late grade more then 30days late, you spend most of the time in class on padlet answering a warm up question
