For Algebra IIH, - bring a scientific or graphing calculator, lined and graph paper, a pencil, and an eraser - have effective strategies in place to memorize complicated formulas - have effective strategies in place to stay calm and work quickly during tests and quizzes - expect to have to do a LOT of outside research to understand most or all of the concepts - if you can, subscribe to Khan Academy and Mathway (or similar services)

Attendance is key. He likes to not give us homework so instead we do everything in class. Missing school can lead to a lot of makeup work so it’s best to have a good attendance. He loves rice krispy treats too!

1. Know how to draw and use bright, solid colors. 2. Have low expectations. 3. Do NOT expect any of the following (at least in Graphic Design I): - to get an A on any assignment without a fight - to get an O for your citizenship score - to receive constructive criticism

- have a printed periodic table that includes molar masses rounded to the tenths place and color-coded classifications (e. g. Alkaline Earth Metals, Lanthanoids, Metalloids, Halogens, etc. ) - bring a regular or scientific calculator, a pencil, and an eraser - always use a pencil or other erasable writing utensil while doing practice problems - fill out the notes in full so you can reference them later - don't be afraid to make mistakes, ask questions, and make educated guesses - keep an open mind and accept scientific facts as facts
