The class is pretty formulaic and should come easy to understand once settled in. The work can be very tedious and repetitive, though. Surprisingly high amount of work for a class reserved mostly for freshmen.
When Prater taught AP World, he gave significant less homework than the other AP World teachers. He now teaches APUSH but his personality is awesome.
Take the class online, it is far better to learn the material directly and be able to cover notes which are given online. It is difficult to study for this in person as this course does not provide online studying material when you take the in-person version. If taking it in person, take additional notes OUTSIDE of classtime. IN class does not have good enough notes.
