Don't try anything funny (i. e. plagiarism or AI) with your essays, she will flag them and a whole lot of pain will follow. Just write them yourself and try your best. If you need help don't be afraid to ask for help. Pay attention to slideshows about grammar and actually understand the concepts. She grades very leniently and be respectful. Good luck!

Listen when Mrs. Baker is lecturing and try your best to answer the questions asked, even if it's just in your head. HOMEWORK: The homework, though there isn't a lot, really helps with your understanding of the material. Even though each homework assignment is only worth five points, they do tend to add up so I recommend always doing the homework. EXAMS: There are no quizzes/tests, Mrs. Baker combines them into what she calls "QuizAms" usually around 50 points each.

A lot of Spanish knowledge is required prior to being in this class. Barahona assigns lots of work, tests, and grades extremely strictly. In my opinion her teaching skills are pretty poor and I honestly struggled in this class. She doesn't explain concepts very well or other stuff in general like where and when to turn stuff in. If you're taking this class freshmen year, prepare for it to be one of your most difficult classes and be ready to study daily.

I don't remember looking over materials that she posted in class, mostly just used youtube or ms. farmer's website to review. The tests/quizzes are pretty much exactly like the homework packet practice at the end, so just do that, time yourself, and grade yourself and work on the concepts that you're weak on and you'll be fine. Make sure your labs are written neatly. Do good an assessments since they're worth more of your grade and then you don't have to worry too much about quizzes.

If you want to do well in her class here are my tips: 1. Do all the extra practices on her website under the Study Materials>Unit Name>Extra Study Material. I guarantee you, that you will see multiple questions from there. Do Pual Groves especially. 2. She is online 24/7(except for late hours) on Remind, so ask her questions 3. She requires an insane amount of details on the One Pager, and the Labs so if you want a good grade I recommend you to start early. 4. There are no ways to recover from Tests so don't screw them up 5. Use your passes liberally she gives out a lot 6. She makes it very difficult to get an A first Semester but almost free Second Semester

- If you're coming from normal precalc, then make sure that you know your algebra well before taking this class if you don't want it to be a pain in the butt - Mr. Gendron will grade your work on FRQs based on neatness and correctness, so in class when he's doing examples, do it exactly like how he does it and practice that during homework, and you will do well. Generally, write full sentences, do your work vertically, don't just be adding random things to your equations and getting answers without showing your substitution or something dumb like that - MCQs are algebra heavy; calculus isn't even that hard. Webassign has a ton of practice besides homework with the online textbook and has answers, so do those and check yourself. There's also a feature that shows which areas you're weaker in and offers more practice problems, so do that. - Mr. G will prepare you well for AP Exam - First semester is a little bit jolting at first, but don't give up if you do badly in the beginning. If you are willing to put in the effort to do more practice and improve on where your weak spots are, you will succeed in this class

If you notice that his teaching isn't enough to learn the material, I highly advise self studying to fill in the gaps. In my experience he taught us poorly, but when I used external resources I was just fine. The material isn't hard at all but if you don't understand it then you won't do well on tests.

Sweetest teacher and the key to doing well is asking her for hints & help for important concepts. For the Multiple Choice Questions make sure you study AP Level MCQ problems, because it will in that format. You don't really need to study the Practice Problems in class for Unit Exams. For quizzes, you must study the Pearson Mastering problems to do well. Also study the practice worksheets in class because the quizzes mimic the work you have done.

This class is very straightforward, just study the slideshows she gives and you will land a high grade on the exams. No surprises, and sometimes she even tells you what will be on the test. Before large exams there is always a slideshow that shows the breakdown of the exam and all of the important details of the exam. Participate often, you grade is slightly off participation. Homework is always completion, and quizzes and tests are based off of what you learn. Spanish III is typically conducted in English, and Spanish IV Honors is typically conducted in comprehendable Spanish.

As far as Precalculus/Trig goes, you will mainly have to take charge of your learning. The lectures are mainly in the form of a packet for each unit and you go over the packet in class which has practice problems, warmups, and even some text for you to learn the material. You can always ask him for help, he even goes above and beyond to having Access sessions just for Precalc review. I would recommend you to utilize these sessions. Low memorization in the class and if you have a strong Algebra 2 foundation, you will be fine in this class. You will even be fine if you did not take Algebra 2 because the class goes slower then Pre Calc/Trig Honors and there is less content to review. Make sure to review the packet everytime before a test, because the questions come from the packet. Webassigns are graded on completion as long as you get 75% or above on them. Homework/Classwork is a really small portion of the class. Quizzes are "okay" and they mainly cover three sections of the unit. I think there are unit tests typically every month. You go from Precalculus Algebra 1st semester then Trigonometry 2nd the semester. Pop quizzes happen often, but they are somewhat based off of the packet. Tests are good too, and I think they are straightforward too. Consider building good habits in this class in order to do well in Calc or AP Calc or even AP Stats. If you want to take AP Calc, challenge yourself with a time limit and harder problems.

I loved Rick. He was the best teacher I had senior year. His class was by far the easiest class i've ever taken. He was super nice and awesome. Tests were very similar to the khan academy questions and were only each 10-15 questions long. Class was mainly project based but the projects were graded very leniently so it is a very easy A.

If you have Mr. Liddle for AP World History, enjoy it! He tries to make learning history very fun, and entertaining. He sticks with standard based grading (where everything is weighed the same amount) which can be good or bad. Make sure to start your notes atleast 2 days BEFORE they are due! Make sure you can identify SPICE-T for each chapter, especially for the tests. Classes include a lot of group time, and preparation for tests.

Without a doubt the best person in this school who teaches. He fs in the dream roto. On a real note, he is a standup dude who subtly cares for his students. Will give you unsolicited tax advice! The class is mostly independent study and there is a light work load. Projects are straightforward and curriculum-backed. Make sure to stay on his good side and don't get caught!

Dont be late, always follor directions and don't be last on cardio day. Bad grades don't affect your grade too much unless you get them constantly. Always dress and change your shoes. Dont sneak your phone. He sometimes gives otterpops after cardio days so make sure to stick around. Lots of exercise but very fun with friends,

Did not take AP English Literature & Comp. with him, but took English 10 with him. Overall a good teacher. I would say that he gave more A grades and graded more leniently than the other teachers. English 10 is meant to prepare you for AP English Literature & Comp. (if you intend to take it). If you are going to take AP Lit, you might as well put in your 100% focus now in English 10 so that you are prepared for success. I think he accepts late work, and the class is chill. Do not be discouraged by your grade for the first week, especially because the timed annotations and writes can start you off at a bad grade. There is a lot of buffer in the course so you can pull your grade up by a lot (even 10%-20% points).

Physics Honors: If you have taken Chem Honors, kind of the same, but less focus on concepts and more on math. Physics is purely math, and I REALLY RECOMMEND CALCULUS OR AP CALCULUS AB AT THE SAME TIME OF THE COURSE!!! Please do not take Precalculus at the same time, while it is possible, you can do MUCH BETTER (A level) if you are taking AP Calculus AB or Calculus at the same time. It is REALLY hard to get an A if you are not taking AP Calculus AB or Calculus at the same time. The class functions like a college course, and purely uses the whiteboard for the entire class. No slideshows. No presentations. Labs are rare, but you watch videos of the labs often. The class is 40% work and 45% assessments. The "work" consists of several worksheets which are homework, classwork, or even labs. FIND FRIENDS IN THE CLASS. TALK TO HIM. Both of these are needed to land an A in this category. It is always really helpful to work with other friends and you can always check your answers for these with him. They are graded for accuracy so these are p much free points. The assessments consist of quizzes and the midterm. Midterm is brutal, mainly because it is a lot of conceptual physics. The quizzes are all short answer and purely math. They are p much word for word from the homework and classwork you do. Pay attention to all the problems you do in class bc the material always shows up on quizzes. Midterm is really hard, and none of the material from class shows up on midterm. You need to search up conceptual physics problems for the midterms. Midterms are also curved. Pay attention to finals, finals are as hard as the midterm. The second semester final was more straightforward than the first one. *You will not be policed around in the class. It is up to you to work hard and get the grade you want. If you don't pay attention, he will not boss you around. Kindest teacher I have met and really happy about the course.

This was the first year teaching AP Seminar so there were some points here and there that everyone was learning for the first time, but the class is definitely a "lighter" class as she says often. You will need to improve your English skills, AP Seminar is purely english, and because of Standards-Based grading, the class is mainly graded on completion (in the sense that you get a 3/3 for completed work). Try to not slack off with late work, it really hits you later in the semester if you do. Take the AP Prep sheets seriously, because you will need to work hard on them in order to be able to preform well on the national exam. Read the rubrics for the IRR/IWA/etc on your own so that you can put in as much effort as you need.

There are a few key tips to success in Zenoni's class for AP World. First of all, he is a very nice teacher and I feel like the best teacher at this school I've met so far. Super friendly and casual and SUPER FUNNYY in class as well! He mainly uses a mix of slideshows, in-class notes (packet), kahoots, and historical videos to help students learn. This works very well and as long as you stay engaged you will definitely absorb information very quickly. Outside of class, he gives notes that you must take from the textbook (he has a certain format he likes students to use and 1-2 sentences per paragraph in the textbook) and sometimes some packets or papers that help you sharpen your reading and analysis skills. He mainly uses multiple choice questions in the first semester, and second semester there are much more free response questions. He focuses on the DBQ > SAQ > LEQ, which is fair given their respective weightage on the AP exam. First of all, the summer test that AP World has when you come back covers a lot of random information out of the summer homework, but it is curved. Still be prepared for that. He usually does chapter tests with ~30 MCQs and sometimes the test will be in the form of FRQs (mainly second semester). Finals are 55-60 MCQs. The multiple choice questions on chapter tests are mainly stimulus based (makes you think and you have to rely on background context/info- combination of reading passages and pictures such as propaganda posters or artwork), with some non stimulus (memorization and facts). If you are not confident in reading/analyzing many long, historical passages with high complexity in a short time and answering questions based off of them, practice with anything you can. Albert.io and Collegeboard AP classroom practice questions were incredibly useful for the exam and Zenoni helps you prepare A LOT when finals and AP Exam season starts. My advice is do the notes well- don't use ChatGPT on them. That will not help you at all when the exam comes and taking detailed notes will help on free response questions and understanding the historical context. Also make sure to prepare for the free response questions by yourself. He helps prepare a lot but it doesn't hurt to practice more outside of the class. I recommend using Knowt to practice free response. Overall, Mr. Zenoni is a very good teacher and an easy grader, so the class is very educational and easy to succeed in if you put in earnest work! Go Mr. Zenoni!!!
