Because of the standards based grading (SBG) and decaying average, you could end up with a way higher grade than usual as long as you do well on the final assignments for each category. I took both English 9 and AP Language & Comp with her - do the readings. This is not a class you can get through with SparkNotes.

This was definitely a very fun class to take!! Yes, there is a bunch of challenging writing/assignments- and it can get a little stressful when Mrs. Wilson pushes you to “exceed”. But we need challenges to challenge our thinking. Throughout this course I’ve learned more about other perspectives, how to write more professional papers, and I’ve even learned more about myself. I’m so happy I got to take English 9 with Mrs. Wilson! She had me prepared for sophomore year, and I couldn’t be more confident in myself!
