I had Mr. Johnson for IB History HL 1 my junior year (in-person). Mr. Johnson prepares you to take the IB History HL exam in your senior year. His class is a lot of memorization (multiple choice questions) and requires an understanding of concepts (short answers/essays). His class is tough but it is fair. The finals are curved I believe. It is a class that you need to put in the work though to pass.
I had Ms. Liu for AP Calculus AB and IB Math SL (in-person). Ms. Liu is an amazing, caring, and kind teacher. One of the best teachers at Andrew Hill hands down. She wants to see her students do well and she always spends time with them after school to help. She is probably the best math teacher at Andrew Hill! The two classes I took were tough and required a lot of work, but having Ms. Liu made it bearable and easier.
