- read the material properly and understand it - ask questions!! - do the references/bibliography to the level of perfection - hw is usually "optional", but highly recommend doing it - take advantage of projects/assignments bc they are mark boosters - tests are usually formatted using scantrons and short-answered questions that are highly application heavy

mr c is a really good teacher, highly organized which I loved. - do ALOT of the practice/assigned homework questions - understand and learn to apply the stuff you learned in application and short answer questions - pay attention and ask questions when you dont understand - take notes! - he is definelty the 'give handout' type of teacher, so get a big binder LOL

Before Entering any ICS4U1 tests, make sure to pray - pray that you dont get absolutely demolished by the time limit. With ICS4U1, make sure you read more than doing the questions. Yes, the homework helps, but the material is more important if not just as important. Learn the material properly and throughly. It literally takes 15-20 minutes. Always re-read the material before doing the homework. With ICS3U1, just remember that this course is supposed to be easy. If you're getting demolished, I really can't help you with that.

For enriched physics (grade 11) - Be prepared to listen to the lectures in class - Full understanding of the concepts are necessary, especially for the multiple choice and long answer components - There is no time to check over answers. - Significant figures are sources of a lot of missed marks - DRAW FREE BODY DIAGRAMS - There is no formula sheet provided, so create one or memorize the formulas, even the rearranged formulas - For lab reports, definitely proofread for writing errors and be thorough with procedure and analysis - Take notes of EVERYTHING and refer to outside sources (Khan Academy, Textbook, Schum's Outline) for external aid and deeper understanding

Ms woolridge is such a nice teacher. I had her for history and she wasn't bad. She is often away and when she is, that is when she assigns hw. 99% of the time, its not marked or turned it. Sometimes she requires us to "submit in portfolio for extra marks" but i doubt that she did. She taught quite alot, but usually gave worksheet to fill out while teaching (some of the questions didnt correlation), but of the whole semester, we only had one test on ww1. We learnt abit about ww2 and the other stuff, but the none of the stuff was being tested, so no one in my class really paid attention which i felt really bad about. As long as you do the assingmetns that are actually being marked, high marks are guarnteed.
