- read the material properly and understand it - ask questions!! - do the references/bibliography to the level of perfection - hw is usually "optional", but highly recommend doing it - take advantage of projects/assignments bc they are mark boosters - tests are usually formatted using scantrons and short-answered questions that are highly application heavy

Do all the homework, ask for as much help as you can. Memorize hard. This aint a fly-by course.
