For Accounting 11: There is no homework at all. The workbook questions are done at your discretion, but she does sometimes check. There are no take home assignments, only in-class open-book assignments, tests, and an ISU (similar to the in-class open-book assignments). The most important thing in test taking is time management, as time limit is very limited
Just do the work, kind of easy as that. The work looks scary but the instructions are very clear and there's a ton of reference. Also, if you play video games, you will get by Mr. Fournie easily (in my case at least)!
Gym was pretty good this year; it was a lot of repetition of grade 9 but it built on the rules and how to play. Health was also a lot of repetition, but for healthy sexuality we learned more about relationships and consent than anything else.
Civics was a course I really didn't enjoy. I found it boring, and something I didn't really think I needed, but so far I've enjoyed careers much more. It really gets us thinking about what we're going to do for the last years of high school, and what we're going to do in our lives. These thought stress us out but I have faith that this course will guide me on the right path.
