Well definitely do the homework, although I would say this for any class, math in specific requires it. Trying to cram the night before will not help because you need to have practiced the questions in order to do well. Regep frequently posts review from the textbook and gives worksheets, so stay on top of those and you'll be perfect. His test questions are sometimes pulled straight from the review, so DO IT!
If you want to do well, get a tutor. Because you will not be able to do well just based off what you do in class.
