Overall it’s a simple class- homework is easy (usually reading), the books we read are fascinating (almost exclusively classical literature, so not everyone enjoys them), and the final assignment (usually essay or debate) is easy IF you do the reading. My advice is DO the readings, speak up + take notes during lectures, and if you need help attend office hours!

Ms. Fort is an amazing teacher! You can tell she’s passionate about English and enjoys teaching. If you get behind GO TO OFFICE HOURS, she’s very kind and is always willing to help. Your ability to succeed in her class is solely dependent on if you do the reading!
