-The class is 100% memorization since it's Environmental Science. Take notes like your life depends on it. -Study for the test like it's a college entrance exam. -Be good at grammar and spelling. (He takes off points if otherwise. ) -He implements a point system, so 1 point on homework = 1 point on an exam. So, grind homework. -Homework takes an average of 3 hours for each assignment, so manage your time well. -

If you spend AP Biology with him, he will treat you like an AP student from the start, as if you know biology well enough beforehand.

Overall it’s a simple class- homework is easy (usually reading), the books we read are fascinating (almost exclusively classical literature, so not everyone enjoys them), and the final assignment (usually essay or debate) is easy IF you do the reading. My advice is DO the readings, speak up + take notes during lectures, and if you need help attend office hours!

Expect to take a lot of notes by hand and memorize as much content as you can, you'll need it

Graphic production isn’t a difficult class, but a time consuming one. The first quarter is all about the principles of design and the rest of the year is spent on adobe illustrator. Her class is unavoidable at STEM and required for a fine arts credit so there’s really no getting around it. The skills we learn are very useful to know for designing posters, projects, etc.
