I would say to complete the work you're given, it's not too much. Also, make sure to watch the news daily every other week at the minimum. This doesn't have to be a time-consuming event, NBC has daily news recaps that are only 20 minutes and CNN has a Top 5 list of current events.

She is an amazing teacher and loves what she does, she's very engaging and makes an effort to make the class fun! She actually cares about your personal life and is the quickest emailing teacher I've ever met. The longest it's taken for her to email me back was thirty minutes, but usually, she emails back in 5-15 minutes!! She is also making a conscious effort to change how we learn by turning to more of a project-based learning system. If you have her as a teacher consider yourself lucky!
