Understand this teacher as fast as humanly possible. She is not a mean person, but you have to learn all her patterns to succeed.
She really loves student discussions so be sure to participate! She becomes very passionate about the topics, so be prepared to know the basic knowledge and be thoughtful with your answers. She likes a variety of opinion, so do not be afraid to voice your opinion if it is different. If you review the basic vocabulary and have a strong foundation in the constitution, it will be very helpful when you discuss court cases and such. She does not like phones in class, but she lets students go on their laptops since most of the assignments are done online. The homework is pretty minimal, that is, if you are in honors. Overall, Ms. Cohen is a very knowledgeable and helpful teacher. She’s very enthusiastic and fun to have as a teacher.
