I was in Mr. Donald's debate class for less than a month. The lessons were interesting, but the way the debates were handled were terrible. The class aide lead them and the teacher sat there while I was chewed out by the aide and chided by my classmates. I have no ill feelings toward him, he's a nice person, but the class wasn't for me. The students were more intense than the actual class. Anyone who's overly strong about politics might enjoy this class, but it all comes down to what side you're on. If you're a conservative, you might be figuratively eaten alive. (Considering stories I've heard, the same goes for his government classes. )
There isn't many quizzes or tests and the final's pretty easy and it's easy to follow along with his lessons. I imagine his AP class is harder, but I didn't take that. Best of luck to anyone going into the class. You're going to have a good time!
