Always come prepared on your music. Make notations in your music when you're given instructions. Always feel comfortable asking questions if you don't understand something. Memorize your solfedge and your counts before coming to class. Look up the text of your songs so you have a better understanding of your music.

Mrs. Jeffries-Hardy is an amazing teacher. She personally connects to each individual and helps them reach their goals through their specific needs. She's a kind person who actually cares about her students and what they go on to do. I'm lucky to have met Mrs. Hardy and to have had her as a mentor in a crucial part in my life.
