The best advice I can give towards maximizing what one gets out of class (chantez nouvelle and kantorei) is pursuing every task in class with vigor and enthusiasm. Furthermore, finding a balance between bonding with the surrounding classmates and furthering the goals of the choir is key to in-class success, fostering an inclusive yet serious classroom environment. Only through placing full heart into the choirs can one see the most personal growth and growth of the group.

Always come prepared on your music. Make notations in your music when you're given instructions. Always feel comfortable asking questions if you don't understand something. Memorize your solfedge and your counts before coming to class. Look up the text of your songs so you have a better understanding of your music.
